Standardization of evaluative instrument for verify basic education standard in the branch Physical education

Title of the work: Standardization of the evaluation tool for verifying the standard of basic education in the field of physical education Author: PhDr. Rostislav Havel The dissertation deals with the knowledge area of the standards of the educational field Physical Education. The main goal was to create a didactic test for verifying the knowledge component of 9th grade elementary school students. The first step was the creation of an item database of 75 test tasks. Subsequently, pre-research (N=669) and pilot study (N=168) were carried out, which were mainly focused on the estimation of reliability, validity and item analysis of tasks. The final (standardization) version of the test was administered to 3 271 9th-grade elementary school students and contains 28 multiple-choice tasks with one correct answer and three distractors. The item response theory (IRT) method was used to analyze the test items, namely a three- parameter model with the values of the discrimination parameter, difficulty and pseudo- guessability parameter. To assess the dimensionality of the test, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was chosen as a part of the pilot tests and the final version. Knowledge and attitudes of secondary school pupils on global climate change

These days, the global climate change is not only a very frequently discussed topic, but above all a threat to the entire planet. In 2009 Johan Rockström published the concept of the nine planetary boundaries that humans ought not to breach if they wish to preserve a safe space for human activities and avoid dangers of global significance. Nevertheless, three of these boundaries have already been breached and are currently in a critical state. The climate change is one of them and its breach is very serious. That is why this master's thesis is dealing with this important issue, which needs to be tackled on the global as well as the individual level since everyone's contribution, though small on the global scale, is necessary and it is vital that all take part in solving this global problem. The thesis is therefore focusing more specifically on the individual level, namely, the knowledge and the attitudes of high school students as regards the global climate change. Importance of Probiotics in the Diet of Pupils in the Second Stage of Basic Education

Positive effect of probiotics consumption on human health was discovered at the beginning of the last century. A number of scientific studies continuously test and clarify this effect to discover more types of probiotic microorganisms and thereby bring new probiotic food and food supplements to the market. The question is, if increasing public awareness and interest corresponds with recent tendency. This study includes theoretical background of the probiotics issue, biological basis, history and technology of probiotics microorganism and discussion of positive effects on consumer's health. The other aim of the study is to find out what knowledge has secondary school students about probiotics and also what role plays probiotics in their lives. The main objective of the research was to compare student's results - students' marking in two groups of students following the different types of educational methods: cooperation and non-cooperation. Reliability of evaluation in selected technical subjects

v anglickém jazyce Annotation In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I deal with the definitions of school evaluation, conception of the current evaluation, types of evaluation, characteristics of evaluation, specifications of the secondary technical school evaluation, as well as the assessment in specialised subjects and reliability of the assessment as the condition of the objective evaluation. The empirical part deals with the level of reliability in the assessment of a set task in the subject - Commercial - Law Correspondence. The written and oral communication and written and electronic communication. The teachers of this subject, at three secondary technical schools in Prague 1, 4 and 9, were asked to give students a specific task and assess it according set criteria. One of the assessors was the teacher of the subject and I was the second one. The reliability was defined as the identity rate of the independent assessment of the same school tasks carried out by two assessors. In the summary I reflect the contribution and drawbacks of the research and the task assessment done by the other teachers and my own assessment. I try to suggest the steps for following the basic rules of criteria in business letters.

An analysis of the practical part of the final apprenticeship examinations at a particular apprentice-ship school

In my bachelor thesis I am focusing on the analysis of the final practical examination of students at vocational school ended by vocational certificate. The analysis was conducted in the school year 2014/2015 and 2012/2013. Aim of the study was to compare the quality and level of written, practical and oral exams.
In my work I compare results of original final examinations and examinations by a single task.
Final testing under a single task is for students easier and more acceptable.
The theoretical part focuses on the personality of the student, the typology of the teacher and on a parts of the final examinations.
The practical part focuses on the course of final examinations according to single task, as well as original assignment. This leads to a comparison of the results.
